Kayıp karga bizim için küçük bir dosya hazırladı. Opeth still life albümünün hikayesini kendi tarzıyla bize aktardı, ben de elimden geldiğince bazen ona bağlı kalarak bazen de değişikliğe giderek çevirisini yaptım iyi okumalar diliyorum.
Konsept albüm hakkında yazmak istiyorum çünkü bu albümlerin hikayelerini bilmeniz lazım, ilk olarak sevdiğim bir konsept albüm olan Opeth den Still Life albümüne girelim. Albüm kalbimde ulaşamadığım aşklar kapanmayan yaraların ilacı ve sebebi albümdür. Albümü tek cümleyle özetleyecek olursan dünya kadar malın olacağına fındık kadar…
Önce Opeth nedir onu açıklayalım:

Artık hikayemize gelelim Evvel zaman içinde riffler metal içinde gitar tonları düşük iken basslar götümüze kaçmışken. Bunların yaşadığı köy sağlam hıristiyan yani gören sancak Meryem İsayı bunların köyde doğurdu. Bizim Mikael bu konularda rahat ya babacım ne jesus kafasında. Köy halkı çağırmış bizim abazan Mikael i yanına bak oğlum demişler git şurda kutsal suda bir çim 2 kadeh şarap iç sabah da papaza gidip günahlarından arın bu köyede hıristyan değilsen banlanıyorusun demişler. Neyse bunlar buluşmuş gizlice Melinda ile. Melinda’nın kuruyup gitse de vermiycem felsefesine karşı bizim Mikael’ın da bir felsefesi var. “Seks briç gibidir, iyi bir partneriniz yoksa iyi bir eliniz olmalıdır” !(woody allen sözü bu arada bana ait değil lütfen) ama bu felsefeden sıkılan Mikael taktik maktik yok bam bam bam felsefesine geçiş yaptığını Melindaya açıklamış. Melinda da dayanamamış bizim haşin erkek Mikael’in karşısında, o gece la popma el pompinö lö pempier olmuş. Publick seviştikleri için görenler olmuş küçük köy yeri sonuçta kategoriler kulaktan kulağa bütün köye yayılmış. Bu kadar zamandır böyle gürültülü bir sexs duymayan halk bunları bulup dövmeye başlamış bizim Mikael Melindayı koruyacağına küçük Mikael i koruma’nın derdine düştüğü için Melinda sağ kurtulamamış bu dayaktan. Yaralı olarak kurtulan Mikael hem Melindayı kaybetmenin acısı hem de ulan yine sexs biriç gibidir felsefesine dönüş yapıcam siniriyle intikam meleğine dönüşüp, sadece Melindaya dalacaktım şimdi hepinizin içinden geçiçem der. Berber John, terzi Ashley teyze, yoğurtçu İbrahim abi falan ayrımı yapmadan hepsinin içinden geçmeye başlamış. Ama köy halkı örgütlenip Mikael İ paket etmiş.

“I want to write about the concept album because you need to know the stories of these albums, let’s dive into a concept album that I love from Opeth, Still Life. This album is a cure and also a cause for the love that I couldn’t reach and the wounds that won’t heal in my heart. If I need to summarize the album with one sentence, that would be, this shit is hard as fuck.
First things first, let me explain the Opeth:
A prog metal band which is formed in Sweden in 1989, okay, let’s cut the crap. I think this is enough because we don’t make documentary series about Opeth, but if I did, I would say he gave his newborn daughter the name Melinda. After all, Mikael has huge rumors we can discuss that later. So what is the concept album? Through the entire album, an event, a story, or a topic is explained by the songs.
Oh right! Now let’s begin with our story. Once upon a time, while the metal with riffs, when the guitar tones are low, and the bass was up to our ass. Once there were two young lived in a village (I want to intervene at this point, there is no specific name for the male character in the album, I called him Mikael), Mikael and Melinda these two young fell for each other, but a kind of love that can make you cry like literally, Mikael said; “Romeo took the poison, but I can even take it with my ass, and I can survive for my love.” if you know you know the facts of his horniness and of course, Melinda acts like she doesn’t know about it. This village that they lived in was a solid Christian. Even you can assume that Mary had Jesus in this village. And Mikael was all good and cool about this all situation, he was in a mood like, “Y’all can’t believe this bullshit.” The people of the village called our horny Mikael and warned him; “Look boy, go get in that holy water over there and take two glasses of wine and go to the priest for confession, purify from your sins, or you will be banned if you are not a Christian.” Mikael took this issue in a more serious position and said, “Is that a twitch chat or something; I mean what the heck!” that is just infuriated the peasants, and they permabanned him from their lands. Mikael had never been in there for fifteen years obviously, and the meanwhile first he founded a black metal group and set fire to the churches, but this action is just couldn’t stop the Mikael, and he found his solution in the most known method. He entered through every strip club’s door, but in the end, he just couldn’t get Melinda from his mind. Eventually, he can’t go back to the village because the peasants threat him with skinning and donating his skin to Turkish Airlines. He can’t return because he fucked, until that night when he left the last strip club that in LA his dealer gave him a drug but, that drug was actually not an acid he gave him a Viagra he didn’t know what he took. The thing like rises as dollar he made up his mind and said; “I have to see Melinda fuck the villagers.” When he arrived at the village he couldn’t believe his eyes. Melinda turned into Mother Teresa, she defines herself as God’s bride, which makes Mikael begins to suspect, then he immediately activates his VPN…
Anyway, they decided to meet secretly. Even if she has defines herself as God’s bride, Mikael also has his own way, “Sex is like a bridge if you don’t have a good partner, you better have a good hand!” (this is a quote from Woody Allen, by the way, it does not belong to me), but Mikael tired all this shit, and he explains himself to Melinda that he decides to destroy all the ways. And Melinda couldn’t help her feelings. Those who saw them while they are having sex spread the rumors, and in the end, all village heard their story, it’s a small village, and they were in the woods. Such a long time, the peasants did not witness such loud sex, so they hunt them. Melinda couldn’t survive from this hunt. Because during the hunt, Mikael, instead of protecting Melinda, chooses to guard the junior Mikael. He saved his ass as injured but with the pain of losing Melinda and the rage of returning to his old motto, “sex is like a bridge,” he turned himself into an avenging angel and thought; “I only want to fuck with Melinda, but now I will destroy all over you. “Then he started to burn down everyone without hesitating; blacksmith John, tailor Ashley auntie, farmer Abraham all of them. But the villagers stand against up him and knock down the Mikael.
The end.
